The Midwest Collegiate Volleyball Association (MCVA) works to promote the sport of volleyball through organizing intercollegiate club competition. The MCVA has served collegiate club teams in the state of Illinois and surrounding states since 1985.

• Membership forms for the 2007-2008 season now online. Return the forms by December 18th 2007.
• Nov 28, 2007: NIRSA Championship Packets available in December, please be advised of the 2008 rules which will be in effect MCVA play as well.
• Apr 7, 2007: Augustana wins 2007 MCVA Championship, Western Illinois runnerup.
• Mar 6, 2007: 2007 MCVA Championship to be held at DePaul University on April 7th. More details soon.
• Sep 27, 2006: Rule Change for 2006-2007. Libero will be allowed to serve in one rotation as in current NCAA women's rules
• April 15, 2006: Dominican repeats as DII champion at 2006 NIRSA Collegiate Club Championships
• April 15, 2006: Augustana 5th, Olivet Nazarene 9th, and Western IL and University of Chicago finish 25th at 2006 NIRSA Collegiate Club Championships
• April 1, 2006: Dominican defeats Augustana to win the 2006 MCVA championship.

• Pre-season Tournaments
  • Augustana College is hosting a twelve team preseason tournament on October 30th, 2004. $100 entry fee. Contact Guy Dierikx for more information.
  • University of Illinois-Chicago is hosting a pre-season tournament on November 21, 2004. 16 teams, $125 entry fee. Winning team gets their entry fee back. Contact Brian Zielinski to sign up.

  • April 10, 2004: University of Illinois-Chicago finishes 3rd in division IAA at NIRSA
  • April 10, 2004: Augustana College finishes 5th in division II at NIRSA
  • April 10, 2004: Western Illinois and Dominican University finish 9th in division II at NIRSA
  • April 10, 2004: Dan Turner, Mike Stallone, Ken Krawiec, and Brian Zielinski from UIC were selected to the all tournament teams in division IAA at NIRSA
  • April 10, 2004: Tony McAndrew, Vytas Nocusis, and Ray Van Syckle from Dominican were selected to the all tournament teams in division II at NIRSA
